3SI participates in the KoM of project Zebai on 22nd, 23rd and 24rth of January that took place in Madrid, Spain

05th Feb 2024

ZEBAI engages 18 organisations from 8 different countries, including universities and research centres, SMEs, and large industrial partners. It is an ambitious integrative project in which a broad range of interdisciplinary teams collaborate in defining a novel methodology enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI) to design and construct zero-emission buildings (ZEB). ZEBAI addresses the challenge of achieving ZEB from the initial phases of the building design, and tests four representative demonstrators (located in Ukraine, Spain, United Kingdom, and Netherlands). ZEBAI relies on previously funded European research projects and aligns with several national initiatives in which the partners collaborate.

The meeting was designed to provide a general overview of the whole project and to agree to a common understanding of goals
and steps towards the achievement of these goals. Main key areas of the project, such as its scope, implementation (in the form of work packages), expected risks, resources and schedule were discussed and some immediate action points were agreed by the partners.
