The kick off meeting of the TwinEU project, took place in 15th and 16th of January in Brussels. TwinEU’s strategic objective is to harness distinctive skills from the grid and market operators, technology providers, and research centers. The goal is to develop a Pan-European digital twin by uniting local twins through a federated approach. This initiative aims to ensure a dependable, resilient, and secure operation of infrastructure while promoting new business models that expedite the integration of renewable energy sources across Europe. TwinEU has formed a diverse consortium involving grid operators from 15 countries, emphasizing the urgency of collaboration. The project not only seeks remarkable innovation but also strives to establish a sustainable and efficient process extending beyond the funding cycle. Through a unique partnership model, TwinEU commits to delivering optimal innovation today and fostering a sustainable future.
